Ryan Weaks is the owner and founder of RW Consulting, a marketing consultancy which helps nonprofits and mission-driven organizations tell their story better to create increased community impact. He specializes in websites, marketing research, strategic plans, and creative content and training.

Ryan launched RW Consulting in 2023 after seeing a need that local nonprofits had for expert help in communicating their mission and impact – reducing their frustration, wasted valuable time and resources, and helping them gain confidence in their storytelling. He refined his idea by going through the nationally recognized CO.STARTERS program for entrepreneurs. However, he has been providing freelance website design and marketing since 2014.

Ryan is an Eagle Scout through the Boy Scouts of America, the 2023 President of the International Association of Business Communicators – Lynchburg, and has a Certificate of Excellence for Board of Directors Best Practices from the Central Virginia Academy for Nonprofit Excellence. Ryan is also an active member of the Young Professionals of Central Virginia and the Creative League of Lynchburg.

Ryan attended Liberty University where he received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in International Business with a minor in Spanish. He went on to complete his Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus in Marketing in 2020.
